La experiencia obtenida por los guías e instructores a través de muchos años realizando actividades dentro del área de aventura, tales como montañismo, caminatas, campismo, sobrevivencia en selva, escalada, espelología y cavernas, barranquismo (cañonismo), rappel, kayak, canotaje, rafting, buceo y snorkel, carreras de aventura, paracaidismo, parapente, salto bungee, Cartografía y GPS, fotografía al aire libre y de vida silvestre, primeros auxilios y hasta Búsqueda y Rescate, por mencionar algunas de las áreas de especialidad, han permitido consolidar un equipo multidisciplinario que le permitirá experimentar de cerca estas y muchas otras actividades. Muchos de los instructores tienen Cursos Internacionales en varias de estas áreas.

Aparte de trabajar en esto, se comparte el mismo amor por las aventuras y deportes extremos y siempre se trata de aprovechar el tiempo libre para conocer nuevas actividades y explorar lugares nuevos que permitan seguir mejorando día a día.

Ademas se participa en un proceso de aprendizaje continuo, probando y evaluando el nuevo equipo disponible en el mercado, desarrollando y mejorando nuevas técnicas y métodos, más seguros y eficientes, que permitan llevar a cabo estas aventuras con toda la seguridad requerida.

Mauricio Odio: President and Owner - Expedition and Adventure Guide - Instructor

Mauricio, was born in San José, but raised in the Capital and in the Caribbean lowlands, both in a farm and in town. He began adventure things when he was just a kid, traveling with his father all around the country, and when just getting to the farm in the jungle, near Tortuguero, was a whole day adventure, with 4x4 in the mud, fording big rivers or using just two big tree logs as a bridge. Horseback riding, canoeing, walking in the jungle at the farm, and using a cable -like in the canopy tour- to pass over a river, where part of an average day at the farm. No doubt why he began doing more adventurous activities later, like mountaineering, rock climbing, speleology, mountain bike, scuba diving, horseback riding, 4x4, canopy tours, canyoneering (certified guide by the ACA), white water rafting, kayaking and canoeing. He has been a volunteer in the National Search and Rescue Unit from Red Cross, for more than 13 years, being also an instructor for Search & Rescue, High Angle Rescue, GPS and Cartography, mountaineering and jungle, as well as a former second in charge Chief of the Unit. Also as a volunteer he went to work in 1993 to Guyana in South America with a Canadian organization called Youth Challenge; and worked here many years in the Turtle Conservation projects both in the Caribbean and in the Pacific of Costa Rica. As a Consultant he is contracted by some hotels and companies to check the adventure activities and make the Procedures and Safety Manuals, according with the adventure regulations in Costa Rica He also enjoys outdoor and wildlife photography (almost all the pictures in this website where taken by him).

Jorge Fuentes: Expedition and Adventure Guide - Instructor

With over 25 years of experience in mountaineering and rock climbing, "Koki" as everybody knows him is one of the most respected mountain guides in the country. He is also our Rock Climbing instructor and guide, and he has been climbing in places like El Capitan in the US. Also practices mountain biking. Besides working as a guide he is really famous because he began by himself designing and building adventure gear, with the brand Chirripo Equipo (name of the highest mountain of Costa Rica). He been growing and now he has a small shop with more employees, but maintaining the high quality of his products.

Pablo Ross: Expedition and Adventure Guide

Pablo, with just 26, has been in the Adventure activities since 1993 when he began climbing. Besides practicing mountaineering he was internationally certified and worked for 6 years as the Jump Master for Tropical Bungee the most respected Bungee Jumping company in Latin America. He practices Mountain Biking, Climbing, Diving, and Adventure Racing. Besides this, he has been a volunteer in the national Search and Rescue Unit from Red Cross for 5 years, and as a Firefighter for 4 years. He is already a Private Pilot and right now he is working towards his certification as a Commercial Pilot, so soon you will find Pablo driving your next flight.

Dennis Carvajal: Instructor

Dennis practice adventure activities since many years ago, that he even didn't remember since when… well, is not that old… He practices scuba diving, parachuting, speleology (has been with Mauricio in the discover of some caves here in the country) and mountaineering. He is a former member of the National Search and Rescue Unit from Red Cross and now is a volunteer paramedic in the Red Cross Headquarters. He is a High Angle Rescue and Swiftwater Instructor.

Jorge Ulloa: Instructor

Jorge is really skilled when we talk about adventure activities. He practice High angle rescue and rappel, being an Instructor for many years. Also he likes scuba diving and mountaineering.
